THE REASON I WILL NOT BE VOTING COME ELECTIONS,2017.SIJA REGISTER KU VOTE NA SIJALI.

A recent survey indicates that seven out of ten children in Class 3 cannot read Class 2 materials. Or write proper English and Swahili. Am glad I can write.2017 is another election year, another deep turmoil for the Kenyan economy. Fortunately or unfortunately I and other like minds in their 20 will not turn up to vote at the ballot box. Before you crucify and judge, let me give you a reason not to. My name is as tribal as it can get. As majority of Kenyans vote on tribal lines, statistics  infer likewise of me and whole population from those in a representative sample. Since the leading opposition is cut to the bone as those in Govt. cannot vote them in.Hence have no option left, any other candidate is definitely a looser. My government has failed me. Unemployment keeps surging, layoffs are at a high. And you expect me to pay my HELB loan! Majority of graduates earn via the online platform, well we grateful of the global world. The Ugandan government can af...

What opportunities exist for youth to prosper in agriculture and agro-business?

To farm or not to farm: What opportunities exist for youth to prosper in agriculture and agro-business? To  farm or not to farm: What opportunities exist for youth to prosper in agriculture and agro-business?   The unemployment rate in Kenya is alarming. The Kenyan education sector, social hype and the belief that white collar jobs is the key to a good life and success among the youth is misleading. With employers paying fresh graduates an average of Ksh 25,000 per month and Kenya propelling towards consumerism, saving becomes an illusion. Under all this unknowns I see a remedy in agriculture. The premiere solution is marketing the notion of agriculture to the youth, since the government is increasing infrastructure in rural Kenya   Infrastructure and logistics are the backbone of Kenya’s long term growth. The government’s Medium Term Expenditure (MTP II) envisages investments of over $43 billion in infrastructure. Marketing the lifestyle in upcount...
Middle Class In Kenya and The Wanna-Be Middle Class Kenyans. Middle Class In Kenya and The Wanna-Be Middle Class Kenyans. A recent survey indicates that for you to be considered as a middle class earner In Kenya you must earn between Ksh 70,000-120,000 per month. This Killed many dreams including mine of being a middle class earner. Well on Average Many Kenyans earn Ksh 50,000 per month. Well this is the lot that thinks they are the middle class earners. When the money thirsty Revenue Authority scoops its chuck of tax you end up with a net of approximate of Ksh 41,000 Well if I am right according to my calculations the new Income tax brackets probably will save you Ksh 700 at most. So you pocket this if you're the realistic Kenyan who doesn't bombard his or her payslip with the so called loans, top-ups, refinancing as the blood sucking banks calls them or from the ever growing number of Saccos. Lord Help us! So a consumerism economy we are! With malls sprou...
