A recent survey indicates that seven
out of ten children in Class 3 cannot read Class 2 materials. Or write proper
English and Swahili. Am glad I can write.2017 is another election year, another
deep turmoil for the Kenyan economy. Fortunately or unfortunately I and other
like minds in their 20 will not turn up to vote at the ballot box. Before you
crucify and judge, let me give you a reason not to. My name is as tribal as it
can get. As majority of Kenyans vote on tribal lines, statistics infer
likewise of me and whole population from those in a representative sample.
Since the leading opposition is cut to
the bone as those in Govt. cannot vote them in.Hence have no option left,
any other candidate is definitely a looser.
My government has failed me.
Unemployment keeps surging, layoffs are at a high. And you expect me to pay my
HELB loan! Majority of graduates earn via the online platform, well we grateful
of the global world.
The Ugandan government can
afford to give subsidies for their farmers. Their produce ranging from milk to
eggs floods our markets. For the agribusiness farmer rearing poultry at small
scale, practicing zero grazing, can never afford to go large scale. Why?the
government offers no subsidy taxing animal feed, leaving the small scale farmer
struggling to break even. All in the name of protecting the few firms and
individuals that run the industry. Majority of Kenyans in rural areas that near
medium size towns, depend on this to earn their livelihood, supplying milk,
bananas, eggs, and other farm produce to earn a living. The same lot you expect
their loyalty from come the elections. They might be blind and toxified by
tribalism which is the opium of the mass, Am not.
With Kenya's debt burden worrying, says IMF, while economy
flatters.
The govt increasing its borrowing, Money laundering,
theft and corruption scandals being the major sailing news on our screens. You
wonder did we elect dumbs and nitwits? I thought we were better than this.
Change isn’t born out from repeating the same mistake over and over again, a
vicious cycle that is stumped hard into the ground only benefiting a few. So
come the elections, I will not stand under the scorching sun lining up, as the norm.
To vote in degradation for the downcast state. Sija
register ku vote Na sijali.
Well said Kenya need like minded people who will do anything to transform the government and the mind of the people of kenya
