1) Superior/Active sound bars which have built-in amplifiers. So all you need to do is plug in your TV or cable box and get your sound. Some have a surround processing effects. Other features are wireless audio streaming, refined speakers and Blu-ray formats.
2) Cheaper Models/Passive sound bars have less power and fewer features. They have basic connections. Design also impacts the price.
